What Are the Early Signs of MND?

The early signs of motor neurone disease (MND) can vary among individuals, but some common early symptoms may include:

  • Muscle weakness, especially in the hands, arms, legs, or speech muscles.
  • Muscle twitching (fasciculations).
  • Cramps and muscle stiffness.
  • Difficulty walking or maintaining balance.
  • Slurred speech or difficulty swallowing.
