Diagnosing motor neurone disease (MND) typically involves a combination of

Medical history assessment
Physical examinations
Neurological tests
Electromyography (EMG) to assess nerve and muscle function
Nerve conduction studies (NCS), and other specialized tests.

Additionally, doctors may rule out other conditions with similar symptoms before confirming an MND diagnosis.
