How Is MND Diagnosed?

Diagnosing motor neurone disease (MND) typically involves a combination of

  • Medical history assessment
  • Physical examinations
  • Neurological tests
  • Electromyography (EMG) to assess nerve and muscle function
  • Nerve conduction studies (NCS), and other specialized tests.

Additionally, doctors may rule out other conditions with similar symptoms before confirming an MND diagnosis.
