What is the Connection Between Doddie Weir and MND?

Doddie Weir, a former Scottish rugby union player, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2017.

Following his diagnosis, Doddie established the “My Name’5 Doddie Foundation” which aims to raise funds for research, support MND patients, and promote awareness about the disease.

Doddie’s courage and advocacy have made a significant impact on the MND community. Sadly Doddie passed away in November 2022 aged 52.
